ARGENTINA INFLATION SERIES

The State Street PriceStats Argentina Index is now published in The Economist on a weekly basis. The publication chose PriceStats’ statistics as an alternative version to official figures for Argentina.
Unlike in other countries, our Argentina series show a significant departure from official numbers. Our 2012 annual inflation rate is ~25%; official figures account for ~13%.
