PriceStats currently provides two inflation products through our partnership with State Street Global Markets:

PRICESTATS COUNTRY INFLATION SERIES

Daily series that represent an average of individual price changes across multiple categories and retailers by country. It is updated on a daily basis and leveraged to estimate annual and monthly inflation. This index is not designed to forecast official inflation announcements, but to provide real-time information on major inflation trends.

PRICESTATS PROJECTIONS OF OFFICIAL INFLATION ANNOUNCEMENTS

We combine the PriceStats Country Inflation Series with publicly available macroeconomic information to make projections about inflation releases in select countries. Our projections are model-based and differentiate from standard forecasts by using daily price information. These projections are released on a monthly basis prior to statistical office publications.

PriceStats is currently working on developing other lines of business grounded on the use of our daily price data.
